School Annual Exhibition was a Success

Hey guys,

Today the exhibition took place from 9:00 AM - 2:00PM. It was a really grand event. It was something even better than what I expected.

All the clubs(Computer Club, Language Club, Science Club, SST Club, Math Club, Art Club) were given set of classes where hey were supposed present the projects they developed. The computer club was given classes 6D, 6E and a part of the school auditorium. The Language club was given the School Auditorium. The Science Club was given all the classes in the second floor. The Math club and the Art Club were given all the classes in the third floor. The SST club was given two rooms in the second floor.

So now I will be telling all of you about my experience in the Exhibition:
Our team as given 3 hours to exhibit our projects. As our team consists of six children, every one hour two children replaced the previous students. So for the first one hour Arnav and me were presenting the projects. The second pair was Roshan and Arko and the third pair was Sohan and Rithvik.

All students were provided with laptops (to present the projects) from the school. The first parent arrived at 9:45AM. Followed by my parents and Arnav's parents. As we had developed three projects, every parent we showed a different one. Many of the parents liked our projects, especially The Brick Breaker.

After my turn was over, Arnav and me went to see the other stalls put up by the children. I first went to the Art Section. In the Art section I saw various craft items. There were many quilled  earings, rings, garlands, I also saw paper bags and many paintings.

Then I had a few snacks and was off to see the Science section. I saw various stuff like robots, models of body parts, experiments etc.

After having a look at Science section, I went to the SST section. Here I saw many wars being simulated, a model of the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx etc. I also saw some physical features of continents and countries made using PoP(Plaster of Paris). This section was very innovative. After this I went to the Math section. This was a really interesting place to be. There were many tricky math problems. There were things like Ramanujan's magic square, math quizes, logical reasoning questions etc.

Then went to the Auditorium to see the events by the Language Club. There were many plays, recitation by students, Speeches and mimicry.

After all of this I went to eat my Lunch. I bearly got 20 minutes to finish my Lunch. Then all of us were waiting for te school gates to open. When the gates opened I went looking for my van. When I found it, I got in and waited for my van to start. Then I came back home.

As many students did not get to see all the events, on Monday they have organised an exhibition exclusively for all the Students.

The Aruino Board

An Arduino basically is a Micro controller board, Which means it can be used for making electronic projects like robots, quadrocopters etc.  It is completely open-source. So it doesn't mean that you must need an Arduino licensed board. You can make a variety of circuits using Arduino. You can also program the Arduino to do certain things. I have the Arduino starter kit. It is available online on both Amazon and Flipkart. The basic starter kit consists of the main Arduino board, a bread board, jumper wires, LEDs, resistors and push buttons. Functions of these Parts: Bread Board:  It is a building board for prototyping electronic projects. Jumper Wires:  It can be used for connecting various components in the breadboard.  LED: It is also called L ight E mitting D iode. It is a self explanatory component. Resistors: It is used to control the flow of current. Push Buttons: It is a type of switch or button which when pressed turns on or off an electrica...
