My Review on my Favourite Game-Minecraft

Minecraft is a Survival video-game developed by Markus Perrson, a Sweedish Programmer and later by a Company, Mojang. This is more of a building game where players get to build structures with cubical textured blocks. This game can be played on PCs, XBOXs, Playstations and Nintendo Wii U. The Minecraft app can also be purchased from Android Google Play and the Apple App Store. I play Minecraft in my XBOX 360.

There is also a special Windows 10 edition which is available on the Microsoft app store. There are 3 different single player game-modes in Minecraft. They are:

  1. Creative
  2. Survival
  3. Superflat
Creative:
It is a free play mode which allows players to build and destroy structures, buildings etc. You can use any block, any decoration and tool in this mode, the choice is yours. There are various inbuilt structures which can be destroyed.

Survival:
It is mode in minecraft where players have to collect resources, attack mobs, attack animals to collect resources like wool from a sheep. The player will be provided with very few blocks in the beginning
of the game. He she would have to collect different blocks  by collecting it from animals or plant life.
The main objective is to survive. There are 2 bars present above your inventory in this mode. They are the-
  1. Health Bar &
  2. Hunger Bar
Health Bar:
You are provided with lives which are reduced by one if you are attacked.

Hunger Bar:
It indicates how hungry the player is in the gameplay. You would have to mange the hunger of your player.

Superflat:
It is a completely flat world free from inbuilt structers (other than a small village). This world lets players build various buildings and structures. It is more or less similiar to creative except the flat part.
                                                               A superflat world

Mincraft also has a Multiplayer game mode where you can play with many people over the globe.

Here I have listed a few Pros and Cons of the Game

PROS:

  • very well designed.
  • Nice Inventory design
  • hundreds of various Textured blocks.
  • Nice background music.
CONS:
  • Display is very pixcelated in the PC and XBOX versions wheras in the Pocket edition it is very clear.
  • Cannot dig more layers in superflat world
RATING:
This is a very nice addicting game inspires to build and design structures. It is something different from arcade and shooting games. I can rate it 4.5 stars out of 5.

The Aruino Board

An Arduino basically is a Micro controller board, Which means it can be used for making electronic projects like robots, quadrocopters etc.  It is completely open-source. So it doesn't mean that you must need an Arduino licensed board. You can make a variety of circuits using Arduino. You can also program the Arduino to do certain things. I have the Arduino starter kit. It is available online on both Amazon and Flipkart. The basic starter kit consists of the main Arduino board, a bread board, jumper wires, LEDs, resistors and push buttons. Functions of these Parts: Bread Board:  It is a building board for prototyping electronic projects. Jumper Wires:  It can be used for connecting various components in the breadboard.  LED: It is also called L ight E mitting D iode. It is a self explanatory component. Resistors: It is used to control the flow of current. Push Buttons: It is a type of switch or button which when pressed turns on or off an electrica...

Badminton-The Game of the Shuttle Cock

Badminton is a sport played between two people or teams using racquets to hit a ShuttleCock across a net. This Sport is usually played outdoors while official matches are played in Indoor courts. Badminton can be played both Singles and Doubles (including doubles-mixed). The sport is very similar to Tennis. The main differences are that tennis is played with a ball whereas badminton is played with a shuttle cock and the other one is that badminton courts are smaller compared to tennis courts. The History: The game was invented nearly in the 1800s. It was a contemporary form of badminton called 'poona'.  British Officers took this game to England where they named it Badminton. After this there was a Badminton Federation formed. Later it was introduced in the Commonwealth Games and the   Olympics. Then on, the game started getting popular and now it is an International Sport.  The Court: The dimensions of a badminton court is 20ft by 44ft. The court is divid...
