After 365 days of 2015, the new year 2016 has arrived. This year must be filled with loads of joy, fun and happiness. This year I will be expecting some cool apps and gadgets. In this year, there should be a lot of growth in economy and technology for developing countries like India. I am eagerly waiting for the Android Marshmallow OS for many phones like Samsung Galaxy J7, Oneplus 2 etc.                                           In this year I wish I score better in my exams compared to last year. I would also want to learn master at least one programming language. I will also be blogging often. Except during the month of March when my final exams will take place. I hope this is a fantastic year for all of us!! Happy New Year to all!!!!

A few days ago, I came across the app "Any.Do" in the play store. I have used many other To Do Lists, but this one is the best one. As I am a student, I will recommend Any.Do for students to manage their studies. This app is a task management app. It is available for both Android and iOS. To use this app you will need to create an account. You can login using your Google account or your Facebook account. If you use your Google account, you have a good advantage - your Google Tasks will be synced to the Any.Do app. I use the Any.do app using my Google account in my phone(Android). I have not used the iOS version. When you open the app it displays your task list. And when you click on any of the lists, it displays a list of tasks in that particular list. If you click on the tasks, you are given a bunch of options to choose and set. Hi, Today I am writing a review about an online game called Agar.io (pronounced agario). This game was developed by Matheus Valadares and published by Miniclip.com.  It is also available on the Google play as well as the App Store. I came across this game a month ago in my school computer lab. Objective: The objective of this game is to grow your cell(a circular shaped object controlled by the player)by making it swallow randomly generated cells(mass) and other players cells(only if it is smaller than yours). Hello Prateek here, Today I will be writing a review on a International Best selling book : Diary of a Wimpy Kid - OLD SCHOOL. I finished reading the book yesterday night. This book is one of the best book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. It talks about difference in Life of the past and the Life at present. Greg kind of likes the new generation more than the life in the past. But his mom in fact wants the whole town to stop using gadgets. Greg is completely against that idea. Its kinda the most hilarious book released in the series.  Greg's grandpa permanently moves to the Heffley's house. He was allowed to choose what room he wants. He chose Greg's room. Hey guys, Today the exhibition took place from 9:00 AM - 2:00PM. It was a really grand event. It was something even better than what I expected. All the clubs(Computer Club, Language Club, Science Club, SST Club, Math Club, Art Club) were given set of classes where hey were supposed present the projects they developed. The computer club was given classes 6D, 6E and a part of the school auditorium. The Language club was given the School Auditorium. The Science Club was given all the classes in the second floor. The Math club and the Art Club were given all the classes in the third floor. The SST club was given two rooms in the second floor. Hey guys I am back again with a new entry in my blog.I recently finished learning JAVA. I learnt Java from a website called  www.codecademy.com . They have many languages like python(I am currently learning), PHP, HTML, CSS JavaScript, Ruby, Scala etc. All I had to do was to just get myself registered and start coding. The interface looks some what like this: It is a great interactive site. They have a pre loaded interpreter for all the languages. On the top right corner you can see a black screen which is the interpreter. In the centre you can see the text editor where you write the code & in the left (white screen) is the place where your task to be completed or the syntax, definitions or info is given for that Lesson. You get various tasks like the one above is something where you code a "Pyg Latin" Converter. Codecademy is a cool site to learn coding. Hey guys, This Sunday(9/8/15) there was an event that took place in my society . It was an event organised by ITC . All children in the society had enrolled themselves for this event. It was all about going door to door and collecting their old newspapers and books,etc.  I was one of the kids. Both my cousin brothers had joined me. All the members had to assemble in the Basketball court in the Society at 11:00AM . After everyone assembled, they elected volunteers to guide the children. Our group consisted of  Anirudh Sarvesh Amey  me Volunteer  The blocks that were allotted for us were Mahogany A&B Birch A&B Silverpam A&B Everyone went door to door and rang the bell and collected the newspapers . Some houses said that they only read e-paper and do not buy newspaper. Exactly at 12:00PM , all the kids and volunteers assembled again in Basketball court.   This Annual Day in our school, we are having an  exhibition . So there are 4 CLUBS . They are- Sports Club Science Club Math Club Computer Animation Club I am in the Computer Club . We make animated Games and Short Stories using a Simple Programming Language called Scratch . In each club there  will be sub-teams . My sub-team consists of- Arko Arnav Rithvik Roshan Sohan Myself We had made a couple of games and stories and had stored it in a pendrive which belonged to someone(who i do not want to name ).In the previous class we realized that he had deleted the files. We had to re-do everything. Luckily one of the files had also been saved in the computer . There was a big argument between everyone. Hey guys, Back again with great news. I recently just coded a translator. It uses the "Yandex.Translate"API. It translates your text into 5 European Languages. They are: English(UK) French German Norwegian Italian                                                                                  It will be put on the Play Store  probably this weekend.  Can't Wait!! Guys:)) It would be called The Buzz Translator. 

I am sorry as I could not write anything this weekend because of the tournament taking place. I am not going to go to much into the tournament. I played against a boy named Abhishek(I LOST), then a boy named Padi(Iwon) and finally a girl named Shruti(I LOST). I got 3 points out of 6. I got the 8th or 10th place I do not remember properly. I got the  Consolation prize in the tournament. Yeah!!Yeah!!Yeah!!Yeah!! :):):):)

Today was the first day of the chess tournament. I left for the tournament at 9 AM. I reached there at 10 AM. The match started at 10:30. My first opponent was a boy from Royal Concord School. His name was Arnav.S. I played as White. He was a good player. The match took about 20 minutes to get over. Guess what was the result, I won. We were the 3rd one to finish the game. I had to wait for half an hour for the others to finish. In that time I finished eating my snacks I got from home. My next match was with a guy named Adhwaith. I played as Black. He played well. He was a good rated player. Adhwaith was from my school. Unfortunately I lost due to back rank weakness. This match really stressed me out. It went on for 45 minutes. After this I had my lunch. My mom made pullav for me to eat. They were serving food there but I did not wan't to eat there. After having lunch I had to start playing my next match. This match was with my classmate. My school is sending me for an inter-school tournament which is happening tomorrow. I paid the fee yesterday. It is happening in school called EAST POINT SCHOOL. It is quite far from my place. I  came back from from school and changed my clothes and washed my hands, then drank milk. After I was done with freshening up, I started playing a few games with the comp. I won 2 matches out of 3. The other match was with a guy called Philip in a software called ICC Dasher. Then I played a few games on Chess.com. I played about 5 matches. I lost 2 matches. As they were good rated champs. After all this preparation I was happy and all set for the Tournament.

This Summer vacation, I had gone to Mumbai for a visit. As almost all my mom's side relatives stay there, I went to meet them all and see some really cool attractions. I went to Bombay on 14 April with my Mother and my Grandparents. We went in a plane to Bombay. Our flight started at 8:30 AM. The journey was for about 2 hrs. We reached the airport at 10:30 or so. We caught a taxi just outside the airport. It was a nice pleasant journey for me.Due to traffic it took about an hour to reach Mulund, where my mom's close cousin stays. After We reached there I ate lunch as I did not have proper breakfast. Saw some TV and then had long nap. I do not want to cover what I did there with my family for privacy issues.      For the past few days I have been interested in chess. I was learning tactics and playing games online on  chess.com . One of my friends, who is a state level champ told me about a chess class which is about 2Km away from our apartment complex. The academy is called Raja's Chess Academy. When the Intermediate batch got over, the beginners class begun. He gave all of us children a sheet of paper which explained the basics of chess like how each coin moves, what is a check and what is a checkmate. During the class he was teaching us about notation. In my apartment there was a sports meet in the month of November. It was conducted by the apartment association. The first event was the football match. I like football a lot and I gave my name for it. The event took place on a Sunday(9:00AM). Our team was the strongest among all. We had one of the best goal-keeper and strikers in our team. The match started at 9:30AM. My team won the toss and we chose to start. I was the mid-fielder of my team. The moment we started, we took the ball past our opponents and my friend shot towards the goal and he missed. That was a really good try by him. The next time I got position of the ball went past the opponents by doing some tricks but the moment I shot my teammate came in between and blocked the shot. I felt really bad that moment. Then slowly our opponents started getting into our half and tried scoring. But all their shots were nothing in front of our keeper.            My favourite pass time is reading books. When we read books we gain a lot of knowledge. We also improve our english and speaking skills.     I generally read books during the afternoon when I am free. I like books which have movies based on them. I everyday go to my apartment library and read funny comics like Calvin and Hobbes, Asterix and Obelix and Tinkle. I also like reading novels. Some of the novels I have read are Percy Jackson, Chronicles of Narnia, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Kane Chronicles. I have also read some classics like Great Expectations, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Gulliver’s Travels and Alice in Wonderland. In this way I spend my time reading books.

As you all know that Halloween is celebrated every year on the 31st of October. It is celebrated to remember the day all withes, wizards, saints (hallows), martyrs etc. died. Children dress up as ghosts and other scary creatures going from house to house to collect candies. Yesterday my friends and I dressed up like scary creatures. We went door to door and collected chocolates and candies. We started our collection from Asish's house. At 6:00 there was a contest in our Library. The contest's objective was to make up an idea that makes you look like a scary ghost. I went there by six and got a chance to participate. After the organizers took a picture of us, we carried on with our collection. When we had finished four blocks it was time for us to go to the library to hear the results.
